Because BarkBox’s founders are dog lovers as well, they wouldn’t send anything to your dogs, that they wouldn’t send to their own. In addition, the company claims that at least 10% of all profits are given to canine-related shelters, rescues, and welfare organizations.

The three BarkBoxes that arrived at the office — for small, medium, and large dogs — featured a collection called "BarkBeard's Treasure," and it's exactly what you think: the cutest box of pirate-inspired toys and treats. Honestly, I think I was more excited than our office dogs to explore what each BarkBox had to offer!
Not so happy with this company. It is already August and have not received my July box yet. When I try to check online, it just says, "Information not available yet." Talked to the rep and she said there have been some delays with getting boxes out due to a warehouse move, and while I understand the delay (I guess?), being proactive and communicating this information to customers would go a long way to avoid frustration. They did offer to make the August box free, which is nice, but as of now, my August box will be delivered before the July box. Makes no sense. It's a bummer. I was excited, but I'm not trusting that future orders will be timely.
My pittie (Snoop, 55 pounds, 4 years) loves to destroy his toys, and the Chompster Mash toys from BarkShop are made with the intention of being destroyed. Even so, they tend to last much longer than the other plush creatures I buy Snoop—some for weeks! The three-eyed, squeaker-filled Goosie Goon is a good place to start. While they’re not cheap—especially considering that they meet the trash can before too long—they are the only toys that can keep Snoop occupied for hours. Bonus: BarkShop has a loyalty program called the Destroyers Club, where you can earn credits on future purchases if you share photos of your pup destroying these toys. Who doesn’t love sharing photos of their pup?
